Structural Integration (SI), created by Dr, Ida Rolf, is a unique style of bodywork that specifically addresses your Postural Patterns and Movement Habits that can ultimately lead to dysfunction and chronic discomfort. Both therapeutic and educational, SI aims to deepen your body awareness, free restricted tissue, and create new movement possibilities for a more a more aligned, resilient structure. The work is done together, with your involvement, in a progressive series of sessions, each focusing on a specific layer of fasica and joint movements. The client wears, shorts and a t-shirt, or underwear if comfortable. During each session you will explore your body’s patterns with simple visual awareness, movement exercises, and while receiving hands on work. You will also have opportunities inside of the session to get up and move to feel changes as well. Structural Integration is something that everyone can benefit from, but can be especially helpful for chronic pain or discomfort that has only been treated locally in the past, movement practitioners of any kind, athletes, and anyone looking to enhance their knowledge of the body.

Anatomy Trains Structural Integration developed by Rolfer and educator Tom Myers takes Dr. Rolf’s understanding of the fasical system and provides a clear framework for how the body organizes itself along these lines of pull via the Anatomy Trains model. Tom Myers and the entire Fascial Research community have helped to pave the way for new understandings about fascia’s integral role in all of the body’s systems.

Anatomy Trains SI Series are performed in either a set of 3 or 12 sessions, with each building on the next. It is recommended to space out these sessions every 2-4 weeks.
Sessions typically last about 90 minutes.
